About

I am an experienced historian, archivist, cataloger, researcher, and educator with a demonstrated history of working in the archival and higher education industries.

My primary research interests include 19th and 20th century American history, documentary and ethnographic filmmaking, animation history and filmmaking, and pioneering women artists, filmmakers, and history makers. I worked for over 10 years with the Academy of Motion Picture Arts and Sciences and the Richard Diamond Trust on the Aloha Wanderwell films, and completed my doctoral degree in 2022, with a dissertation on Aloha Wanderwell, travelogues, and documentary filmmaking.

I currently am pursuing an MLIS degree at University of Maryland, with a focus on Archival studies.
